We believe in periodical assessment. In order to ensure that, students study throughout the year, and not just for their examination, we have weekly tests, that is assessed by the subject teacher concerned. This takes the form of Formative assessment, because we then look at thier performance and try to correct their mistakes and guide them towards a correct path. Junior students of classes 1 to 4 are assessed by their class teachers, every week, on various topics including discipline and performance. These assessments are then compiled and handed over to the parents, at the end of every term, as a profile of the student concerned. We also have term examination, First, Second and Final terms. These are our Summative assessments. Students are assessed on grades and their promotion is based on the performance throughout the year. This is how both formative and summative assessments are merged together for better understanding of our students performance.
