Our school's purpose is to educate the children of Nepal to take their productive place as successful human beings. We are a caring community where students' needs are a priority and where traditional values are respected and encouraged to coexist alongside modern values. We believe that every learner is unique and special and that they all have the ability to learn. We believe it is our responsibility as educators to nurture and develop every learner to prepare them for life.

ECA is an integral part of our school programme. Every child must develop physically and mentally as s/he grows. Academics play an important role in a child’s life, but music and sports are agents that support academics in this development process. 

Sports makes a child disciplined in life. It teaches courage, perseverance and resilience which plays a very important role as the child grows up. It helps a child learn how to collaborate and communicate, which are important characteristics in life. At SIS, we give our students opportunity to learn, Basketball, Futsal, Table Tennis, Gymnastics and Taekwondo. We have very highly qualified coaches, who have been part of the National team at one point of their lives. 

Music, opens up both sides of the brain. It helps a child to develop intellectually. Music also helps a child to express his/her inner most feelings and guides a child to become courageous and confident in life. At SIS we have Guitar, Vocals and Keyboard, Drums and leather instruments and Dance as a part of Music activity.

We have a lot of ECA/ CRE activities scheduled to be conducted in the span of one academic year. All our students are divided into three houses and they compete against each other, teaching them responsibility and perseverance. With these activities and competition, we develop our children into a complete human being, who are ready to face the world with confidence as they graduate from our school.
